Artist Adolf Dehn
I was looking to purchase holiday cards entitled “Avian Holiday” by Adolf Dehn. I think I missed out on the boxed card sale already and can’t find it anywhere =(. Oh well, I deserve this for waiting too long. I did a little research on this artist and instantly fell in love with his work…

“Adolf Dehn (1895-1968) was one of the most notable lithographers of the 20th century. Throughout his artistic career, Dehn participated in and helped define some important movements in American art, including Regionalism, Social Realism, and caricature. He was known for both his technical skills and his high-spirited, droll depictions of human foibles.”
New Fave at Hayden-Harnett
I love Hayden-Harnett’s Black Bronze Wizard Snake Collection; I only wish they made a large handbag with this leather finish. Maybe in a style similar to their Corcovado Turnlock, Jinhee Slim, Sloane, or Trophy bags would be nice? I included pictures below of the four aforementioned bags to help you visualize =).
Leslie Greene’s Vintage with a Modern Twist
A few years back when I was vacationing on Hawaii’s Big Island (Kona), I saw a magazine spread of Leslie Greene‘s jewelry and fell in love.
Jewelry Edwardian vs. Art Deco Eras
*This post is an addendum to a previous one regarding “Kevia Jewelry.”*
Edwardian Era: Design period covering 1901 to 1910.
Art Deco Era: International design movement from 1925 until 1939.
Bamford’s Winter Garden
Bamford’s blouses are so cute. As much as I enjoy the classic looks, I admire those who can make a creatively bold statement.
Porridge Comfort Clothing
Porridge is sometimes carried by Anthropologie. This is how I became aware of the label. Their clothing is great for lounging around on lazy weekends curled up with your fave book or for traveling. Hands down, really comfy!
Catherine Malandrino
This is a really pretty dress by Catherine Malandrino. Kind of reminds me of a spring flower…
Hale Bob’s Burnt Velvets & Silk
The fabrics and color combos from Hale Bob are really pretty. It’s still a really cool way to use burnt velvet fabrics without the gaudiness factor.
