I’m lusting over Onna Ehrlich’s Francoise Croco Bowler and Dawn Croco handbags! They are so gorgeous, roomy, and look well-made! Simple design- I love that because some handbags are wayyy overly designed… ugh… I’ve only seen these two particular bag styles offered no more than once or twice in sample sales. Both times I missed out =(. Drat!
Totally irresistible accessories by Sara and Amiee Berman. You know that I’m a sucker for studded belts and boots but this love also translates to handbags and cosmetic pouches. Wow, hehe… an actual studded makeup bag and with leopard print satin lining too- how cool is that?
One of the most coveted of all Fendi baguettes. I believe this bag was featured in the movie, 13 Going On 30, starring Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo. The pathetic thing is, I can’t seem to find any close-up pics of her bag (Fendi silver sequined baguette). Surely someone mentioned/reviewed such a gorgeous bag somewhere on the web? I’ve also included pics of my top choice bags featured at a recent Hautelook sale (solid grey backdrops).
At a fairly recent Ruelala sale; I thought these were cute… Love the embroidered details against their signature monogram. The pinkish lavender just pops off the bag. As you can imagine, they sold like hotcakes. I really love the tote with the peach trim =).
Today was the KK sale. I was keeping my fingers crossed that I would see something from her Spring 2009 Collection, and I did =)! I posted my top picks from the sale below. At regular price, her bags are tres expensive so this was considered a pretty good sale. I personally don’t care for the new canvases done in powder blue/periwinkle but the knotted design is really beautiful. The new moss tote is really nice and was offered at a good price. I’ve realized that I prefer her handbags and accessories with color contrast. While the Edna Shopper done in wine is gorgeous, I do prefer the wine colored knot design against black leather rather than a tonal effect of top to bottom wine. For a red lover, it’s probably euphoria. My top choice for a cute summer bag is the Donna Large Hobo in salmon. Please remember to double click on all pics for enlargement.
Just found these pretty bags via ShopStyle. Beautiful but crazy expensive- priced like an inexpensive or pre-loved Chanel. The costs of creating designer bags from an industry point-of-view may be rising but the prices are becoming out-of-control. I’m mad at MJ for his continued price hikes. Some of his bags in the Spring 2009 Collection should be at least a few hundred dollars lower than they actually are. I’ve also included bags from other seasons and of course, his Stella, the one that started my love for this brand. I know I’m a little behind with LV but I love love love the Shimmer Halo from 2008 =), TDF!!!
I was just browsing the YSL sale at Ruelala *drool.* All I can say is wow!!! I was hoping to see the Easy Y/Crest in gold/bronze there but oh well… that would be too good to be true. But anyway, WOW ;). Almost all the bags sold out in a half-an-hour, which confirms that in general women are not recession shoppers =). The more exotic-looking leathers were TDF. I’m not a huge fan of the Muse 2 but I can understand its appeal. I love the Muse 1 more but I’m concerned that it may not be the most comfortable to carry since it’s bulky and I love shoulder bags over hand-helds- its shape reminds me of the LV Alma. I also wish I was more of a patent leather fan but I worry that the finish makes these bags even more prone to revealing scuffs. On the upside, the pebbled leather on the Easy Y is so beautiful. I love the Teal and Ombre colors of the Downtowns. I’m featuring shoes, sunglasses (love the semi-puffed heart detail), and almost all the bags below LOL. My top picks? Gee, it’s almost unfair to narrow it down so feast on these–>
