Gavernie Soap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I named this bath cocktail after Fitzwilliam Darcy&#8217;s Pemberley Estate in Jane Austen&#8217;s <em>Pride &amp; Prejudice<\/em>.\u00a0 Just saw the 1995 t.v. series very recently starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehrle and loved it!\u00a0 If you are a fan of lavender products, this bath is perfect for you.\u00a0 I suggest this turquoisey blue bath cocktail as an end-of-the-day detox soak before sleep&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 1\/4 Ex-Factor Bath Ballistic:<\/strong> Sweet, candy vanilla.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been wanting to try this bath ballistic for the longest time.\u00a0 A friend gave me a 1\/4 piece to sample so I decided to combine this piece with what I already had.\u00a0 1 Ex-Factor will be more than enough; you can even use a 1\/2 chunk.\u00a0 Also a great bath bomb for a post-breakup detox bath.\u00a0 I might have one more Ex-Factor somewhere and would love to create a sweet-scented candy bath cocktail with it next time.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not a fan of lavender scented baths.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lush-ex-factor-bath-bomb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-5653\" title=\"lush ex factor bath bomb\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lush-ex-factor-bath-bomb-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1\/2 Blue Skies &amp; Fluffy White Clouds Bubble Bar: <\/strong>This  scent is similar to the Big Blue bath bomb only a little more mild and  sweet.\u00a0 At first whiff, there seems to be a nuttyness similar to those  in chocolate candy bars e.g. Snickers.\u00a0 Not sure if I was imaging this?\u00a0 I think of it as the more masculine counterpart to The Comforter Bubble Bar.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patchouli oil<\/li>\n<li>Frankincense resinoid<\/li>\n<li>Cinnamon leaf oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lush-blue-skies-and-white-fluffy-clouds-bubble-bar.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-5654\" title=\"lush blue skies and white fluffy clouds bubble bar\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lush-blue-skies-and-white-fluffy-clouds-bubble-bar-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Dreamtime Bath Melt:<\/strong> Very lavender.\u00a0 I believe this bath melt was the reason why my bath became so lavender scented and dominated the other scents.\u00a0 If you are not a lavender fan, I don&#8217;t recommend this bath melt.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Almond oil<\/li>\n<li>Lavender oil<\/li>\n<li>Ginger oil<\/li>\n<li>Sandalwood oil<\/li>\n<li>Chamomile oil<\/li>\n<li>Jasmine absolute<\/li>\n<li>Jasmine flowers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lush-dreamtime-bath-melt.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-5655\" title=\"lush dreamtime bath melt\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lush-dreamtime-bath-melt-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>*Recommended Soap: Gavernie Soap (reminiscent of Jungle Conditioner&#8217;s scent).\u00a0 Gavernie&#8217;s scent makes me think of asian sweet bean desserts.\u00a0 I love it very much; as you might have guessed since I&#8217;m nuts for Jungle!\u00a0 Gavernie was pleasantly not what I expected.\u00a0 For whatever reason, I thought it would be much more herbal.\u00a0 I used Temptation Soap (apple minty scent) by accident thinking it was Gavernie.\u00a0 Ironic.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lush-gavernie-soap.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-5664\" title=\"lush gavernie soap\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lush-gavernie-soap-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>P.S.\u00a0 My apologies the review on Gavernie has been so late.\u00a0 I thought I had reviewed this soap in the past and found out I hadn&#8217;t.\u00a0 Better late than never, but better never late.<\/p>\n<p>*Photocredit: Lush Cosmetics<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I named this bath cocktail after Fitzwilliam Darcy&#8217;s Pemberley Estate in Jane Austen&#8217;s Pride &amp;
