{"id":5762,"date":"2011-06-23T16:43:26","date_gmt":"2011-06-24T00:43:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/?p=5762"},"modified":"2011-06-23T20:38:02","modified_gmt":"2011-06-24T04:38:02","slug":"lush-review-ceylon-tea-bath-cocktail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/?p=5762","title":{"rendered":"Lush Review: Ceylon Tea Bath Cocktail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A bubbly, frothy melon-colored bath.\u00a0 This was a belated birthday treat to myself.\u00a0 I was occupied in a good way with celebrations with family and the completion of a school course.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t get a chance to enjoy this bath cocktail until yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Luverly Bath Ballistic:<\/strong> A mild floral.\u00a0 My first guess was chamomile; which is incorrect.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ylang ylang oil<\/li>\n<li>Jasmine absolute<\/li>\n<li>Gardenia extract<\/li>\n<li>Straw flowers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/lush-luverly-bath-ballistic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-5765\" title=\"lush luverly bath ballistic\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/lush-luverly-bath-ballistic-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Auntie Pamela Bubble Bar: <\/strong>A very spicy sweet fragrance; very cinnamon.\u00a0 Judging from the ingredients, it must have been stored next to a bubble bar made of cinnamon or the like.\u00a0 So don&#8217;t go solely by my account.\u00a0 I love this bubble bar enough to re-purchase for a future bath cocktail.\u00a0 I threw this into the bathwater and it melted in no time.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t even have to crumble it!\u00a0 The bathwater was quite warm though; maybe this helped?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chamomile powder<\/li>\n<li>Rose absolute<\/li>\n<li>Ylang ylang oil<\/li>\n<li>Vanilla absolute<\/li>\n<li>Rose petals<\/li>\n<li>Red golden glitter<\/li>\n<li>Gardenia extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/lush-auntie-pamela-bubble-bar.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-5766\" title=\"lush auntie pamela bubble bar\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/lush-auntie-pamela-bubble-bar-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1\/2 MMM Melting Marshmallow Moments Bath Melt:<\/strong> Sweet floral  scent.\u00a0 Just in case you\u2019re wondering, it\u2019s very  easily crumbled  under running water.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>almond oil<\/li>\n<li>chamomile powder<\/li>\n<li>marigold powder<\/li>\n<li>synthetic musk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/lush-mmm-melting-marshmallow-moments-bath-melt.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5767\" title=\"lush mmm melting marshmallow moments bath melt\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nycupcake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/lush-mmm-melting-marshmallow-moments-bath-melt.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Ring of Roses Buttercream Soap:<\/strong> A lovely gently floral  fragranced soap.\u00a0 I always worry about  anything floral because I really  dislike the scent of lavender (smells  too medicinal and herbal) and  geraniums (smells like burnt plastic).\u00a0 I  know lavender is supposed to  be calming, so it\u2019s unfortunate that I  dislike that scent.\u00a0 I do think  dried lavender looks gorgeous in a clay  vase.\u00a0 RR was to my relief  nicely scented and it left my skin  moisturized.\u00a0 For someone with normal  or combo skin, many Lush melts  and soaps make post-bath lotion  unnecessary.
