Lush Review: Pop in the Bath Cocktail

I’ve been staring at my Lush goodies for weeks now wondering when there would be some free time for a bath cocktail.  At the end of the day, there’s always something to do- a task of the day that wasn’t quite finished…  Guilt of not getting to certain chores that I had set off to do at the beginning of the day and became so side-tracked by other unforeseen obstacles.  This time I set my foot down for a little treat.  If Venus had bodies of water, they should be as salmon pink as this bath and just as florally sweet.  I created a rejuvenating bath cocktail which Aphrodite would envy and I was surprised at how well the ingredients mingled.

1/3 Easter Egg (Pink) Bath Bomb: Sweet Candy Fluff scent reminding me of pink Peeps marshmallows.

1 Pop in the Bath Bubble Bar: Floral citrus scent, strong but not overwhelmingly so like certain perfumes.  If you love florals, do give this a try. I thought I had sensed a little citrus in this; sure enough it was a correct guess.

  • Bergamot oil
  • Lemon oil
  • Orange flower
  • Mandarin oil

1/3 Happy Blooming Bath Melt: Sweet scent which does remind me of candy cherries.

  • Passionflower
  • Dried cherries
  • Fresh passion fruit
  • Ylang ylang oil

Summer Pudding Soap: Love it almost as much as Sandstone Soap.  I really wish this could be part of Lush’s permanent line somehow, though I doubt it since it has such a seasonal name. As an aside, I did make English summer pudding last month (I was inspired by this Lush soap).  The dessert made an excellent end-of-summer delight.

  • Rapeseed oil
  • Coconut oil
  • Ground almonds
  • Glace cherries
  • Almond oil
  • Buchu oil
  • Juniperberry oil
  • Lemon oil
  • Gardenia Extract
