I named this bath cocktail after Fitzwilliam Darcy’s Pemberley Estate in Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice. Just saw the 1995 t.v. series very recently starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehrle and loved it! If you are a fan of lavender products, this bath is perfect for you. I suggest this turquoisey blue bath cocktail as an end-of-the-day detox soak before sleep…
1 1/4 Ex-Factor Bath Ballistic: Sweet, candy vanilla. I’ve been wanting to try this bath ballistic for the longest time. A friend gave me a 1/4 piece to sample so I decided to combine this piece with what I already had. 1 Ex-Factor will be more than enough; you can even use a 1/2 chunk. Also a great bath bomb for a post-breakup detox bath. I might have one more Ex-Factor somewhere and would love to create a sweet-scented candy bath cocktail with it next time. I’m not a fan of lavender scented baths.
1/2 Blue Skies & Fluffy White Clouds Bubble Bar: This scent is similar to the Big Blue bath bomb only a little more mild and sweet. At first whiff, there seems to be a nuttyness similar to those in chocolate candy bars e.g. Snickers. Not sure if I was imaging this? I think of it as the more masculine counterpart to The Comforter Bubble Bar.
- Patchouli oil
- Frankincense resinoid
- Cinnamon leaf oil
1 Dreamtime Bath Melt: Very lavender. I believe this bath melt was the reason why my bath became so lavender scented and dominated the other scents. If you are not a lavender fan, I don’t recommend this bath melt.
- Almond oil
- Lavender oil
- Ginger oil
- Sandalwood oil
- Chamomile oil
- Jasmine absolute
- Jasmine flowers
*Recommended Soap: Gavernie Soap (reminiscent of Jungle Conditioner’s scent). Gavernie’s scent makes me think of asian sweet bean desserts. I love it very much; as you might have guessed since I’m nuts for Jungle! Gavernie was pleasantly not what I expected. For whatever reason, I thought it would be much more herbal. I used Temptation Soap (apple minty scent) by accident thinking it was Gavernie. Ironic.
P.S. My apologies the review on Gavernie has been so late. I thought I had reviewed this soap in the past and found out I hadn’t. Better late than never, but better never late.
