I can’t say that I was ever really consistent with my skincare routine before but over the years I’ve loved Benefit Cosmetic Mint Souffle, Neutrogena, Amore Pacific, and Origins. A few months ago I promised myself I would include skincare as a self-care priority and started facial mask Mondays and Fridays. More on this in a few. My current Origins regimen listed in order after a cleanser or cleanser and scrub consists of a toner or treatment lotion, serum, moisturizer, mist, lip scrub & balm, SPF. Most dermatologists recommend applying lighter solutions first and then building towards heavier ones. I have combination normal skin with a focus on aging gracefully and my skin can be mildly sensitive. It seems like my skin is prone to a pimple or two during stressful times, usually around my nose or chin area. I admire Origins for their commitment to help offset carbon emissions, combat climate change, and restore ecosystems through their global tree-planting initiatives. I also love to add relaxing facial acupressure to my routine and plan to add the use of guasha and dry-brushing my body regularly. My current facial routine is about 10-15 minutes because I don’t want to rush through, especially not at night. I use Drink Up every Monday night and Friday night as an overnight mask and use any extra on my cuticles. I have included some of the prices but check on Origins for the rest. They have a great customer service who patiently answered all my many questions.
